    Good talk! Mental health is becoming a big problem. It is interesting how "someone" keeps throwing safety vests at people in terms of books/podcasts/talks along with plenty of fireworks simply to promote - words. (And to start a new industry of education/crrtificates/seminars/politics/etc.) Our experience exists between two extreme situations: the worst case scenario (hell) and an ideal scenario (heaven). In more practical terms, I would like to suggest this channel to educate viewers on two topics: Criminality and Success. Just use Google search to explore each topic, then explain what you have found. Alternatively, as a warmup exercise, try Resilience: definitions, etymology, principles/pillars/hallmarks/categories/dimensions/models/rules/factors/7C's/4R's/etc, qualities, positive/negative etc. Once we understand those extremes, words like Engagement, Experience will "live happily ever after".

    Hi Erik , please ,What is the minimum appropriate period of data collected to get sufficient analysis if a company doesn’t have this data and is going to start collecting this information ,can you get sufficient analysis from 6 months data or less or the minimum period is two years ?

      Great question! The amount of data needed depends on the analysis. Six months can be enough for short-term trends and forecasting, but longer periods (like two years) are better for identifying long-term patterns and ensuring statistical significance. The more data you collect, the better you will be at measuring metrics and extrapolating trends. My golden rule is that some data is better than no data! - Erik

    It is not so easy as you laid it out. You sometimes have some terrible managers and employees who do not listen to anything. Some managers do not abide with the HR especially if that Manger was born on the job, some employees learn how to do things their own way and bent that way for years, you will try your best to show them how the job could be more easier and how much more they need to learn and know. And how work could be easier. It is no easy, Madam. Yes, your message is good according to the textbooks.

    Request you to clarify between Organisational dedign and Business dedign please. To me everything you described is business design, to be more precise business architecture (org mapping is one adpect within this of course) I was wondering since you mentioned HR but there wasn't an HR element.       Great question! In the video, we start with a value chain analysis because that’s the starting point of organizational design. Organizational design focuses on how internal structures, roles, and processes are optimized to meet the required capabilities and strategic objectives. By looking at the value chain of Rosmarino, we can analyze the impact on HR. To make Rosmarino successful, Judy will have to develop specific skills (packaging expertise), change jobs (the sous chef who will focus on home deliveries), work design (based on the new operating model), and even attract outside talent (the financial manager to price the menu). All of this reflects the organizational design and directly impacts HR strategies and policies.

    Started out good with improving productivity but DEI and Climate change is a complete nothing burger for HR. Most boards can care less and for good reason. There is NO DATA to show that these things increase productivity! ZERO. In fact, these things will signal to the CEO and board that HR has nothing better to do and so they are doing these initiatives to keep busy. There are real initiatives in HR to accomplish, such as turnover, and engagement and these have nothing to do with DEI/Climate Change.

      You are implying that HR is not concerned with and should completely ignore the environmental aspect in its function, which is a very big mistake a manager overall can make. Climate is a very important aspect that can highly affect HR functionality
